As a Lagotto Romagnolo (Italian Lake Dog or “water dog”), my happiest place is near (or in) the water (oceans, lakes and rivers). My mum Brenda is also an avid water enthusiast and we spend many days exploring the shorelines of the Salish Sea in British Columbia, Canada.
The water excites us, rejuvenates us and calms us. The shoreline entertains us for hours, the sea air fills our senses and lifts our spirits. Wave sounds range from soft lapping whispers to wild crashing roars and everything in between.
We have compiled a few book recommendations to help us understand and appreciate why many of us are so drawn to water.
Hope you enjoy them too!
